Research: conducted open source & academic research on various law enforcement, privacy, and data protection related topics while analyzing various legal instruments & opinions ; extensive research on the use of drones in law enforcement operations; drafted and presented a discussion paper “IP addresses as personal data in police investigations and the introduction of IPv6” ; in the light of the development of a common EC3 policy & practice, drafted an overview & questionnaire relating to the practice of internet monitoring in law enforcement operations,which was sent out to all member states;Capacity building: drafted internal guidelines for law enforcement officials; gave multiple presentations on data protection issues.
