We have released a SAAS product MVP on a multi tier AWS infrastructure, running REST microservices in C#. The product allows users to visualize their AWS network in 3D, run security scans, and subscribe to security alerts in real time, with vulnerability information overlaid on top of a 3D network architecture view.

Features included case management, customer management, email and FTP management, as well as service level alerting. Transitioned from sole developer to technical leadership role of 5 part time and 2 full time engineers from geographically diverse support organizations.

Handled the following types of customer requests:* Critical assistance with respect to the uptime, reliability and scalability of their systems. This include addressing and mitigating outage and product unavailable situations involving SSO/Siteminder access control configuration, network packet loss or mis-configured network situations, intermittent database connectivity, database indexing and other database management issues, LDAP replication and configuration issues, capacity planning issues, failed migrations from development environments to production environments, performance benchmark regressions, among many others.* Critical assistance with respect to Web access security, involving such situations as FIPS compliance audits, encryption and key issues, swapped user accounts, session hijacking, XSS vulnerabilities, buffer overflow vulnerabilities, denial of service and application level vulnerabilies (such as those found in OWASP). Many situations involved researching the specific attack vectors and reviewing product source code to determine whether the product is susceptible to these attack vectors, making recommendations to the customer about detection, workarounds and immediate term mitigation, while also making recommendations to our own engineering teams about specific changes needed to address these issues.* Enterprise security questions, including access management deployment, scaling, upgrade, architectural and configuration questions, how to integrate the product with other security products, how to deploy the product to solve specific use case scenarios, how to effectively protect HTTP services, Web Services, REST, Soap and other Web 2.0 services, how to effectively use Access Management product SDKs and automate deployment and provisioning.

Developed and distributed the Spinworks Application Server and rapid application development environment. Integrated a Web Server, Embedded Database engine, and Embedded script interpreter. Sold online store, inventory management and email management applications hosted on Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Customers included MSN Encarta, Africast TV network, St. Vincent De Paul. Self funded. Managed 5 employees. (C++, Python). Application server had 4 star Tucows rating.
