Position Overview: I am responsible for; and managing all aspects of the installation, maintenance, inspection, operation and repair of the plumbing systems.Key Responsibilities:General:● Hot and cold water system servicing, repair and replacement● Drainage repairs and installations● Conducting conversions and alterations on existing plumbing, including guttering and downpipe replacements● Performing general maintenance plumbing● Specialising in new installation, maintenance, alterations and conversions● Operating a range of hand and power equipment, vehicles and machineryManagement:● Scheduling, supervise and managing jobs ● Measuring up materials and coordinating jobs● Providing a clear scope of work for the team to execute● Diagnosing and resolving plumbing problems with cost effective solutions● Monitoring contractors’ repair work and conducting quality control ● Conducting regular site visits to ensure optimal maintenance performanceLiaison and Communication: ● Work closely with senior management to ensure jobs are running efficiently and effectively● Liaising with stakeholders to determine needs and communicate projects● Sourcing best product for the price and providing quotes to clientsCorporate Governance:● Performing all duties in accordance with rules and regulations set out by Government● Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations, and site policies and procedures● Undertaking regular Health and Safety risk assessmentsTime Management:● Ensuring all maintenance activities were completed within the specified period● Scheduling and completing all maintenance project work in a timely and efficient mannerSystems and Budget:● Maintaining the database with accurate records of clients, work completed and cost● Managing and controlling the maintenance budget● Authorising the purchase of equipment as well as its maintenance or replacementHuman Resources:● Recruiting, training and development of staff

Position Overview:I performed tasks related to the plumbing trade, under the supervision of a qualified plumbing tradesman or instructor and consistent with apprenticeship year level. Attend off the job trade school to complete learning and assessment outcomes required for a plumbing apprenticeship. Key Responsibilities:● Assisting journeymen● Cleaning, storing and maintaining tools and equipment● Inventory checking and re-ordering● Collecting plumbing material from suppliers● Digging and filling-in of trenches● Gaining experience on copper, GMS and PEX piping installation
