Business Development Manager for Tractebel (ENGIE) a consultancy firm focusing on large Infrastructure projects. Based in Belgium and in the Middle East region. Successfully secured and engaged the company in landmark projects such as FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar, Dubai large infrastructure projects, Abu Dhabi royal family investments as well as Oman and KSA major developments. Developed the infrastructure activities in the Middle East from scratch to a team of 7 FTE and a turn over of 7 Million euros in 3 years.

Co-created a new company with the purpose of establishing international development plans and provide customized solutions for the formulation and implementation of business expansion in the Middle East region for various industries.

ArcelorMittal Projects Middle East – In charge of the Projects business unit Reporting directly to the CEO, commercial responsibility for business development, sales and project management of big projects for energy sector, infrastructure works and civil construction in the Middle East region. In charge of the marketing strategy and communication/branding for ArcelorMittal in the wider Middle East. Establishment of distribution companies in Qatar, Oman, Iran and Saudi Arabia. Member of the board, executive and risk committee. Member of the extended executive committee at ArcelorMittal group level in The Netherlands. Developed growth through acquisition and the merger of a local company established in the UAE (Dubai), bringing back a negative P&L to a very profitable business. Signing the biggest deal of the entity with major EPC contractor for a refinery project in Abu Dhabi.

Evolved from technical engineer to project manager of large civil infrastructure projects for one of the major international contractors in the UAE, below some examples of most significant projects accomplished during this period.
