At the time I established this business, there was a huge and growing demand for custom and standard packaging materials and displays from new cosmetic and skincare companies. I developed and implemented marketing plans with vigorous sales and communication strategies to aggressively promote the company’s services. These included trade shows, advertising campaigns, social networks, and press releases. Soon I was able to expand the business beyond my original focus to attract and win business with major brands, such as Clarins, Thierry Mugler, Chanel, and Bourjois. • Grew the business from the ground floor into a thriving enterprise with 17 employees and a base of customers in France, Spain, Germany, Belgium, UK, Italy, and Hong Kong. • Provided primary and secondary packaging to meet customer requirements; created technical drawings, artwork, and 3-D renderings using a variety of professional software applications. • Developed products that met market demands, including a standard line of attractively priced Plexiglas displays and a range of environmentally friendly, Ecocert-compliant packaging. • Opened new department that provided end-to-end manufacturing, from injection molding to finishing.
