In addition to my role as Senior Project Manager (see previous work experience), on January 1, 2018, I took over the Team Leader role of the Project Management Team 1 in the Crop Protection Development (CPD) department of the Region Europe, Africa and Middle East (EAME). My additional accountabilities due to my additional Team Leader role were as follows:- Line management of six EAME CPD Project Managers- Providing support, coaching and performance feedback to all team members- Ensuring that quality standards for all processes are applied by all team members- Evaluating individual performance and delivering the yearly performance reviewsBesides managing my team, I was also in charge of leading the Regional Development Committee (EAME DeCo) on behalf of the Regional Head CPD.

I was leading and managing cross-functional Project Teams in Region Europe Africa and Middle East (EAME) for an assigned project portfolio (seed treatment products). My accountabilities were:- Organising and managing project team meetings, communicating minutes, actions and securing adequate resources for projects aligned with business strategies- Establishing and maintaining project plans- Conducting formal project reviews and developing proper documentation for stage promotions by regional and/or global governance bodies, e.g. Development Committees (DeCo)- Driving project management excellence for my projects by implementing globally and regionally agreed standards and tools- Ensuring and performing stakeholder management across organisational boundaries

I was in charge of establishing and, thereafter, leading a sales back office team of six FTEs. This team was supporting the direct sales from Switzerland to customers (distributors) in the Africa Middle East (AME) territory. Examples of accountabilities of this team:- Sales contract management- Sales order management- Price list maintenance- Management of supply issues

I had business (P&L) responsibility for the countries in West and Central Africa:- Developing and delivering sales budget in collaboration with the countries- Developing and implementing country strategies- Leading and guiding the local company representative offices (CRO)

Within the Global Marketing department, I was supporting three Global Product Managers in their work of developing global brands. My main responsibilities were:- Implementing and facilitating market research studies (e.g. brand equity and key buying factors), developing insights into key markets, customers and growers- Developing brand models/concepts - Developing communication and launch platforms (e.g. brand identity guidelines, technical brochures, branding videos)- Monitoring and controlling the marketing support budget
