In November 2015 I joined the Maintenance department of MTU Aero Engines. At first my main task consisted of organizing, planning and controlling maintenance projects for jet engines and industrial gas turbines. The daily routine consisted of chairing shop floor meetings and communicating with the entire facility along the value stream in order to ensure a smooth maintenance process. This experience helped me understand the manufacturing and supply chain process from many different viewpoints and aided me to develop my communication skills on a daily basis.At my own request I was soon appointed to work on continuous improvement projects at first in a supporting and later in a project leader role. Therein I worked on projects for the reduction of TATs (turn-around-time), the digitalisation of standard work instructions and the implementation of shop floor management. The main project however followed over several years was the complete redesign of the plant’s layout as a project manager for the operations department. The biggest innovation therein was the planning and design of a flow line concept for the reassembly of jet engines.In addition to the production and project management tasks mentioned above I administered the production planning IT networks of different jet engine models in SAP, helped with the introduction of new products and was Admin to a fully automated KPI Database (MS Office) responsible for reporting operative KPI’s to plant and company management.

6 month final year project at Air France Industries (AFI) Aérostructures- creation of reliable maintenance repair and overhaul cost estimation for AFI customers- Process and Project Management to deliver a relible cost quote to the customer in a delay of no more than 5 days - permanent interaction with all plant departments such as: Prodction Engineering, Production Floor Management, Customer Support Management, Fundamental and Research Engineering and Logistics.at the end of this project stands the presentation of a Masters Thesis and the graduation as a double Master of Science (M.Sc.) in both Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from Vienna University of Technology and Ecole Centrale Paris.
