Ensuring overall project success by defining, detailing, and tracking of financial targets. Targets were significantly overachieved by staying below approved restructuring cost budget and outperforming savings target.Established Japan as a pilot region for defining and introducing ‘Beyond Budgeting’ mindset and principles. In charge of orchestrating Annual Shareholder Meetings incl. responsibility for Shareholder Management (incl. ~200 external shareholders), proposing dividend payout, finalizing the Annual Report, and presenting Financials as well as other topics at the Annual Shareholder Meetings. Furthermore, led multiple functions incl. Finance, Accounting, Tax, Controlling, Wholesaler Management, Sales Support, Event Management, Procurement, IT, Office Management, Internal Controls, and Corporate Security encompassing ~90 FTEs.Notable achievements:As project lead, successfully carved out Bayer MaterialScience Indonesia PT. for the global IPO (Initial Public Offering - nowadays Covestro AG). Activities included structuring and proposing a new legal entity structure, organizational setup, separation of assets, and change management, among other activities.Local project lead for the integration of Monsanto Indonesia (50 mEUR sales incl. two manufacturing sides). Responsibilities include structuring and proposing future LE structure, deal structure, collaboration with HR and Communications regarding change management, etc.Acting as interim CEO and Senior Bayer Representative for the Region Indonesia for four months during transition, responsible for ~1.200 employees. Besides the external representation of Bayer (business delegations, key contact for the German embassy, chamber of commerce, and others), successfully managed a significant business crisis in Indonesia involving local, regional, and global stakeholders.
