I started off as an security and network consultant and tried my best to find solutions for the challenges and opportunities of our customers in broad projects from small to big. I invested my time to gain knowledge in all layers of the ISO/OSI model.I was mainly focused on working with firewalls, load balancers and switches. With time my role changed partly to web app and network penetration testing, vulnerability assessments and general IT security consulting. I tried to keep up with the new problems, solutions and innovations in the field while broadening my view on IT as a whole, to become a trusted advisor for all things IT security without giving up hands-on work.My last step was to start leading the team of IT solution experts at link protect GmbH to empower them being the best solution provider in all fields they can be and let them grow to be even better in the future. Be it security, infrastructure, endpoint, server, windows, linux or whatever. I stand behind them and try to create the environment they need to strive for excellence and not disconnect myself from the real work at our customers at the same time.There is a long way to go, but I will take it one step at a time.
