About Stephan Pfister

I have been teaching and researching at ETH and other universities over 15+ years, with a focus on global impact assessment of water consumption, land use and biodiversity loss in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Multi-​Regional Input-​Output Analysis (MRIO). I am passionate about solving complex problems by integrating diverse stakeholders to find innovative solutions that respond to changing conditions. I enjoy collaborating across disciplines and teams to create knowledge that can help identifying options for transformative change.
