-Last August I joined the Saint George startup company, Trula as their first Campus Coach. The program is rapidly growing. We connect with College Students and help them with their "Mild but Urgent" mental health moments, such as break ups, exam stress, being homesick, or being a freshman. We focus on the here and now and help reinforce interpersonal effectiveness skills that students already possess within themselves to become the best version of their self by our statement of "Embracing The Unknown". -In the Dixie Innovation Plaza (where Trula started) I also met Hunter Manz, CEO and founder of Eden Technologies, and I just absolutely loved what they are doing as well: desalinating and purifying water in a way that aims modernize an entire industry that has seen little change in over 40 years. I began to reach out to people and places that may benefit from this technology just as something in my spare time and realized just how passionate I could be about bringing people clean and affordable drinking water. I quickly went from Communications Director to the Head of Humanitarian Projects as I learned how many communities, even here in the United States have little to no access to clean water. I have a wide background in Blue Collar work, from changing tires at Les Schwab, Work Zone Flagging, to Landscaping. I went to school at NIC for Information Technology and briefly worked as a Field Technician, only to learn that it was not where I was passionate. I have had a colorful history that has given me the strong work ethic and drive for success that I have today.
