• Participate in daily mill planning and operation meetings, recording boiler operation statistics and daily maintenance plans.
• Coordinate with tradespeople to efficiently complete daily maintenance while minimizing boiler downtime and emphasizing increased operational reliability
• Create 2D drawings of mill machinery for maintenance and optimization use.
• Hold weekly maintenance priority planning meeting, issue weekly maintenance plan, and execute plan.
• Lead department annual shutdown planning
• Monitor boiler and mill operation to determine optimal times to complete work to minimize impact on tons of pulp manufactured per day.

Fort St John, British Columbia

• Collect pipeline current potentials, ground resistance data, and test for required amperage for cathodic protection induced current system installs.
• Organize line locate teams and complete BC One calls using an RD4000 and Metroteck.
• Provide accurate and detailed site drawings for line locates to provide to the customer.
• Contact lease operators to coordinate annual cathodic protection surveys.
• Safely set up rectifier interrupters and visit each lease to record precise current readings from all protected pipelines and casings.
• With a team, monitor auger operation then promptly and safely fill the excavated holes with the calculated amount of coke breeze and anodes to construct a cathode protection anode bed.
