    In my Bachelor's thesis I developed a program that made use of state thinking and swarm intelligence in order to build a chain of robots. Based on simple principles the WANDA robots reacted to infrared communication send by surrounding robots to connect two areas. Subsequently, they verified the consistency of the chain and removed all but the most crucial members of the chain freeing unnecessary robots to take care of other tasks.The result was a robot connection between two defined locations with as few as possible units.
