Partner and Senior Clinical Consultant with AXIA. When engaged with individuals with disability, their fmailies, workers, professioansls and/or organisations we want to create positive change and help people suceed with their goals. We use the lens of positive behaviour support, trauma infomed care and attachment theory to better understand people, and help those supporting them to develop their understanding of the person. When we better understand the reasons why behind behaviours of concern, we feel better equiped to support!

Developed implementing provider behaviour support processes, systems and policies. Developed and coached teams on the process of Positive Behaviour Support including assessment, formulation, intervention frameworks, skill building and responding to crisis. Developed a suite of behaviour support training materials and upskilled teams to deliver the materials. Provided clinical guidance on opening new services with a focus on ensuring the clinical and behaviour support needs of NDIS participants was met. Helped to get the service NDIS registered for behaviour support. Even created a podcast.

Acting Team Leader for the Consultancy Team in the Community Justice Program.

Provided training and support to participants enrolled in Certificate III and IV in Disability, Aged Care and Community Services. Additionally, the role required me to develop tailored training packages to disability service providers.
