With over 20 years of experience in applied geophysics, I am passionate about exploring and understanding the tectonic evolution of the solid earth, mineral systems science, and geothermal systems. I use electromagnetic geophysical methods, especially magnetotellurics, to investigate the structure and composition of the crust and mantle, and to map and characterize mineral resources and geothermal potential. As a Next Horizon Geophysicist at CSIRO, I work with a multidisciplinary team of scientists and industry partners to develop and apply innovative geophysical solutions for mineral exploration and discovery in Australia. I have contributed to several projects that have advanced the magnetotelluric method, with recent applications to areas such as the Gawler Craton, the Delamerian Orogen, and hot dry rock systems. I have also published multiple papers in prestigious journals and received an Australian Innovation Award for magnetotelluric monitoring of fluid injections in an enhanced geothermal system. My current focus is on mapping and understanding mineral systems at all scales, and I am motivated by the challenge and opportunity of unlocking the hidden potential of the Australian continent.
