I currently co-own and manage a micro-enterprise in the service delivery field using knowledge gained from previous full-time employment. I gained experience as project manager while employed by FPD. I managed the start-up of the Grand Challenges Canada Project, the Seek-Test-Initiate-Retain (STIR) men who have sex with men (MSM) program and closeout phase of a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) funded grant between 2019-2022. I am currently involved in the start-up of a small business in an effort to use my time to grow as entrepreneur after my full-time employment ended. During my seven-year tenure at FPD, I was promoted from Shuttle Service- to Travel Bureau administrator then to Travel Bureau coordinator before being appointed as MSM Project Manager.In pursuit of higher knowledge, I have completed a higher certificate in management through FPD. After successful completion of my International Diploma in Hotel Management studies through Legend Hospitality School (2013), I was employed by Legend Golf and Safari Resort as an event coordinator.I volunteered on the PSI MSM Advisory Board from 2021-2022, participating in regular meetings and insight sessions.I was a volunteer member of FPD’s Health and Safety Committee after completion of Fire Fighting and Health and Safety training. I am highly motivated and passionate, ambitious, resourceful, and dedicated. My natural interest in people and business motivates me to offer the best possible service to clients. I believe in doing things right the first time every time, as this ensures quality service delivery.
