Iraq

• As Operations Manager I was responsible for the effective collaboration between our company and various contracted clients throughout Iraq, one being the Deutsche Gesellscaht für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) RMA in Nineveh Province.• Reporting directly to the Country Manager on all operational issues and fulfilling the operational leadership function. • Full administration of legal and regulatory documentation and liaison with MOI and National Authorities to ensure in country laws and regulations are adhered to.• Full administrative and budgetary control of USD 250 000 monthly budget. • Management of employees (60 static guards; 32 Mobile security team members, 6 support staff members at HQ), inclusive of monthly employee payroll; Performance Management and if necessary Disciplinary actions.• Responsible to provide life support and security for 16 Expatriates (British, South African, Serbian Nationality).• Health & Safety oversight function in theatre of operation.• Command and control oversight of all missions in my area of responsibility, with team member safety a top priority.• Responsible for all Operations Room systems and equipment.• Daily liaison with all Project Managers; clients and employees to ensure the effective day to day operations.
