This includes the power plant that under went MACT conversion.RED Rochester's ICT currently consists of 35 miles of fibre-optical cabling, over 40 applications supporting power generation, distribution, water purification, steam dispatch, industrial; waste water processing and incineration and the incumbent Environment Health and Safety requirements

Stephan Amsbary developed and led EnerNex’s Enterprise Architecture practice that merged TOGAF and Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) IntelliGrid methodologies. Stephan has an established track record identifying, developing, proposing, articulating and applying Enterprise Architecture processes to solve client requirements.Stephan’s projects included:• Lead the IT and communications replacement and migration of Eastman Business Park's Utility assets as part of an acquisition by RED-Rochester. WHile also identifying the ICT processes and applications to replace coal generation facilities with verdant generation, co-generation, while also supporting tenant utility services, and merchant generation into the wholesale market. This migration also included migrating the chiller, water and wastewater treatment facilities ICT.• Developed for several utilities Smart Grid Architectures that included support for Demand-side management, renewable resource integration, smart meters, including components necessary to support dispatch of renewable resources, and directed and verified volunteer sheddable loads. • He was the lead investigator for several Smart Grid Product Evaluation and Roadmaps for major utility manufacturers. . He also lead several Smart Grid Pilot Distributed Automation Evaluations and Enterprise Architecture engagements that had significant components relating to Demand Response programs. . Stephan was on retainer with several clients for his Smart Grid and Enterprise Architecture expertise.Stephan was the Vice-Chair and Secretary of the Smart Grid Architecture Committee (SGAC), where he co-led the Architecture Development Working Group. He was a team member EU M.490 Smart Grid Reference Architecture, IEEE P1723 SOA Reference Architecture endeavors and co-led IEC TC57 WG19 Smart Grid Architecture (IEC 62357). Stephan also wrote the architecture related content in NIST's Smart Grid Framework document (release 3).
