Google Glass ExplorerSupply Chain Innovations Jun 2013 - Jun 2016Google's Glass "Explorer Program" launched earlier this year and is designed for people who want to get involved early and help shape the future of Glass. As one of 8000 selected in the "#IfIHadGlass" contest I have been seeking ways to integrate Glass, and other wearable technologies, into supply chain and retail operations, as well as in other areas of life.My focus is less on capturing the world through the camera, but rather learning how we can present timely and appropriate information to the wearer through the translucent screen and speaker. Areas of interest include integrating Glass with RFID for a more interactive experience, as well as seeking ways to use Glass for warehouse operations, and enhanced shopping experience, and to enrich self-guided tours. -
