Wealth Management (WM) is undergoing profound change. New consumer preferences and digital models, as well as demographic, macroeconomic, regulatory and competitive trends have come together to transform the WM experience for Advisors and Investors alike. The depth of disruptive innovation and the speed of fundamental shifts across the wealth management industry are re-shaping the future of financial advice, and setting a new expectation moving forward. I believe that adapting to this change, when combined with discipline and listening to Advisor and Investor feedback, drives a winning formula for all stakeholders. As one of four millennial panelists at InvestorCOM's (2019) annual conference discussing the challenges and desired state of Financial Services 2030 and a Finalist at IGM Financials 48-hour hackathon (2019) pitching innovative solutions to cross-company employee related challenges, I've established great interest in wealth management disruption, technology, and innovation over the last several years. Having graduated from McMaster University's Commerce (Honours) program in 2015, recently completing my CIM designation and currently enrolled in Queen's University's Master of Management Innovation & Entrepreneurship (MMIE) program beginning in the summer of 2023, I'm excited to be a contributor to the evolution of Financial Services in the Canadian marketplace.
