Experienced Operations Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the airline/aviation industry (22 years). Skilled in Management, Freight, Airports, Air Freight, Warehouse Operations, Hazardous Materials, and much more in the industry. I started this industry in 1998, in the footsteps of my father who was also in this industry for 40+ years. I've witnessed/experienced the positive and maybe not so positive changes the industry has made over time.I currently live in the Tampa Bay area. Where I have been working for Air General Inc. in the Air Cargo field for the past 12 years. During this time, I have applied myself to learn more and grow in the industry. My initiative has always been to learn as much as I can in order to provide better service for the company I am employed with. I have also been able to set out many goals, some of which I have achieved. There are still some yet to be reached, and some yet to be thought of which will continue to drive me. One future goal will be to relocate to France at some point which was my second home growing up the first 17 years of my life. I am a dual citizen of both countries (the United States & France). Although, I do need to get my French status updated, which will be done hopefully soon in order to make this goal more real for my family and me. I do understand French and can speak it although I do need to brush up on it since I haven't needed to use it in many years. Since I do not have a set timeline as to when this move will happen, I can not say I am actively looking for employment in France as of yet. I do like to see what is out there in opportunities all over the country as my family and I are not totally set on which area we will be relocating to. CDG/Paris is right now topping the list only due to more opportunities in the area. At least from what it seems. Preference would be more south near NCE/Nice or even MRS/Marseille, but that varies on the opportunities at the time for both my wife and I when we are ready.Although I have been working in the carrier side for quite some time, I would also be open to opportunities in the freight forwarding side of the industry to further my knowledge and grow even more.
