As a professor at the Centre for Human Brain Health, University of Birmingham, I lead a multidisciplinary team of researchers and students who investigate the neural correlates of antisocial behaviour and mental disorders. With over 10 years of experience in forensic mental health science, I have published multiple peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, and reports on topics such as psychopathy, aggression, violence, and trauma.My core competencies include data analysis, functional neuroimaging, scientific writing, and teaching. I use advanced statistical and computational methods to analyze large-scale brain imaging data and identify biomarkers of risk and resilience. I also design and deliver courses on forensic psychology, neuroscience, and criminology, and mentor the next generation of scholars and practitioners in this field. My mission is to advance the understanding and treatment of forensic populations and to promote brain health and social justice.
