Co-Founder and President of GKM Consultants Inc, Stéphane-Éric obtained his degree in Geological Engineering from Laval University in 1993. He carried out interesting projects involving environmental investigations, site rehabilitations, geotechnical assessments, ground stabilisation, geological and hydrogeological studies and construction supervision in Quebec, Ontario, Alberta and British Colombia provinces requiring calculation analysis, recommendations and reporting. Stéphane-Éric has an excellent comprehension of drilling technics, shoring methods, piling and earthwork operations. His work experiences provided him with excellent knowledge of geotechnical and structural instrumentation, as well as non-destructive (thermographie, georadar, half-cell, seismic refraction) and in-situ testing (CPT, SPT, PMT, Lugeon etc.) applied to civil engineering and construction.With professional achievements in more than 15 countries, Stéphane-Éric with his associates brought GKM recognition up to a level of becoming a key player in the geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring market by creating strategic alliances with world leader manufacturers in the industry and by adding talented resources to power and secure the company’s growth. Aside his business administrative role, VP Sales and Marketing functions, Stéphane-Éric enjoys staying close to the technical side of the business, managing major projects/contracts and solving technical challenges for the benefit of his clientele.
