Ensure that all the team members provide the highest quality legal services with integrity, professionalism, dedication, full alignment with the Group policies and at the same time, full compliance with all the relevant laws, rules and regulations at all timeSupport and facilitate the achievement of the Volvo group's mission and business goals in APACSupport on a daily basis the retail operationsSupport the restructuring of its distribution network (at importers and dealers level)Engage in new development/cooperation projects with partners in Asia (India/Indonesia)Manage external lawyers and coordinate with in-house counsels within the GroupCounsel senior management on legal risks and propose business oriented solutionsProvide internal training on legal or regulatory issues and complianceMain Challenge:Succesfully reshape the Japanese Legal & Compliance team and at the same time, support the retail operations of a multi-brand/multicultural truck organization and its distribution network restructuring process in Asia-Pacific (evolving in saturated business environments of mature markets and very dynamic fast moving business environments of emerging markets at the same time) Show less
