As overall plant technical manager, the work is mainly focus on: production efficiency, machines efficiencies, cost saving, yarn quality and customer satisfaction.Function including a constant contact with all our raw material suppliers, with the textile machinery producers and with all our salesmen, representatives and customers (spinning, knitting, beaming, weaving, dyeing and finishing ) . This to promote our products and to offer to our customers various possibilities of new developments with a constant support in all technical topics.

ICBT was one of the European leader of the textile machinery manufacturers and is nowadays known with the name of Verdol (Reyes Group)As graduated Textile Engineer I was in charge of the conception, design, construction and testing of a new generation of Texile Machinery AT900 & AT10 ( Air jet texturing machines). The AT900 was a very innovating machine at that time, with a total individual position control. I had the satisfaction to exhibit this machine during ITMA 1999 in Paris, and to receive the First prize of the French Textile Machinery Manufacturers.The main function of product manager was to give a large technical support to our design department and to our salesmen and customers concerning all textile and technical topics.An important part of the job was also to visit our customers and to emit the requested offers and cotations.

In charge of the erection and start up of various textile machinery at customer plants ( conventional and air jet covering machines, double twisting, cabling, carpet yarn, glass fiber, spooling, tyre cord cabling machines...). Moreover the electrical, mechanical and textile start up of the machines (up to more than 80 machines per contract), the work also included the technical training of the customer teams to the use of the machines ( mechanics, electricians and operators), and a constant management of 3 to 30 workers to erect the machines.This worldwide work at famous and well known customers as UNIFI (USA), Miliken (USA), Glen Raven (USA) , Payen (FR), Fabelta (BE), Denderland Martin (BE),Beaulieu (BE), FTC (TW), Vertex (CZ), Adatex (BR), Richbond (MA), Lederer (DE) ....was for stays from 1 up to 12 weeks.
