•Responsible for set up and follow up of merchandising for the Contemporary and Designer Women’s wear, Menswear, Accessories and Cosmetics Departments.Daily planning of space layout according to collection arrivals and seasonal directives.•Sales analysis.•Special events set up for trunk shows, private shopping nights and designers appearances (Michael Kors, John Varvatos, Nicole Richie) and various other in store events and activities. •Store visit and checklist done weekly.•Lead, coach and develop merchandise team.•Develop and maintain solid relationship with vendor representatives. •Maximize sales potential using effective and creative merchandising strategies.•Identify growth areas and problems and recommend appropriate merchandising actions to address issues.•Follow standards when presenting merchandise (i.e. color-blocking, featuring and item tables). •Rotate aged stock into blend to assist in driving sell-through. •Re-merchandise departments with the assistance of department Associates. •Work with Manager of the operations, Sales Manager’s, Sales Associates and Brand Specialists to determine most appropriate presentation. •Re-work presentations as merchandise sells down or consolidations arrive.

•Set up and follow up of the Mexx signature concept in various distribution channels (company owned, franchises, department stores and soft shops).•Training and supervising sales teams on merchandising and display techniques.•Window display elaboration.•Showroom preparation and merchandising look-book conception for partner shops & franchises. Detailing the collection and merchandising standards for the upcoming seasons.•Set up and launch of 10 new stores and concepts (company owned, soft shops, franchise, Dept. store).•Daily communication and weekly conference calls with area manager and all store management.•Elaboration and implementation of new merchandising concepts.
