EuroHPC' INFRAG is one of the advisory groups of the Industrial and Scientific Advisory Board which : - provides advice to the Governing Board of the EuroHPC JU for the acquisition and operation of the supercomputers, drawing up and regularly updating the draft multiannual strategic agenda in relation to such acquisition but also capability building and widening activities;- issues recommendations on the federation and interconnection of the EuroHPC infrastructure;- advises on the capability building, including the national HPC Competence Centres and widening and training activities for end-users, as well as opportunities for promoting the take-up and use of European technology solutions notably by the national HPC Competence Centres;- organises public consultations open to all public and private stakeholders having an interest in the field of HPC, including quantum computing, to inform them, and collect feedback.

Created in 2007, GENCI’s role is to : - implement the national strategy for equiping in HPC/AI and storage resources the three national computing centres and making the systems available for French researchers (academia, industry); - support the creation of an integrated European high performance computing ecosystem; - promote numerical simulation and high performance computing within the academic and industrial communities. As Director for Innovation and Technology, i'm in charge of :- identifying new opportunities for developing GENCI' services toward scientific and industrial communities- cross analyzing the needs of users communities and a technological watch on novel HPC, AI and Quantum technologies- benchmarking GENCI' offer toward scientific and industrial users with similar e-infrastructures - conducting technically procurements for 3 French national HPC centers and setting up collaborations I have also a strong interest into French (HPC-PME and now Simseo) and European initiatives (SHAPE, Fortissimo) toward the use of numerical simulation, HPC and Artificial Intelligence in order to boost innovation and competitiveness of SME.Also i'm participating into EC H2020 funded projects like:- EXDCI2, the European eXtreme Data and Computing Initiative toward coordinating the development and the implementation of a common strategy for the European HPC Ecosystem. In this project i'm in charge of animating a team of 40 experts in many scientific and industrial fields for issuing regular roadmaps and recommendations to EC.- PPI4HPC toward a joint procurement of Innovative HPC solutions between 4 European partners : BSC for Spain, CINECA for Italy, FZJ for Germany and GENCI/CEA for FranceMore informations : www.genci.fr
