Dear all,I worked for the Specialty Glass division (France - 77) of Corning Incorporated, one of the world’s leading innovators in materials science, during almost ten years.I took care of sales and accounts management, with several types of products, and in various territories.I developed skills in acquiring new customers while retaining existing ones, as well as a strong expertise in creation and development of distribution networks, in international markets.I was successful at managing our relationships with strategically-important customers.Back in June 2014, I left Corning to create my own business entity, by the name of Export Sales Development Consulting.I therefore became a sales agent, acting on behalf of selected players, to negotiate sales of their products, and help them reach customers and overseas markets they could not target as economically.Under this new role, I worked with Specialty Glass (in South EMEA, and Latin America) for more than five years.Additionally, I focused on the soda lime glass tubes sales development of Marvell Glass, a member of the Nordeon Group of companies. I was appointed, for a period of three years, to help them convert their entire product range to various other applications, such as pharmaceutical, laboratory, (food) packaging, cosmetics …In January 2018, and for couple of years, I supported international sales development (in selected priority markets) for a French company by the name of Germitec, which had launched some years ago a high-level and patented solution to disinfect ultrasound probes.In October 2020, I was recruited by Karl Hecht GmbH, a manufacturer of high quality precision glass instruments and devices for laboratory and hospital needs, and my main duty was to optimize our sales to an existing distribution network spread across France, which involves visiting customers very often.I have recently joined the Sibelco Group, a global material solutions company. Our company sources, transforms and distributes specialty industrial minerals – particularly silica, clays, feldspathics and olivine – and is a leader in glass recycling.
