For more than 30 years, I have had the pleasure of working alongside the best and brightest to bring the M&E industry into the future by wholly embracing the latest technologies to change the way we all produce and distribute content. I've led key media technology initiatives that have upended old paradigms overnight. These changes have helped Dalet not just be relevant but at the forefront of change. My role is to keep an eye on the future, always. In doing so, we know exactly where we need to be for our customers, what we need to build internally versus what we need to buy to leapfrog innovation and remain ahead of the curve.With the anticipation of market needs and roadmap expansion, we pursued the following acquisitions that have brought best-in-class technologies that enriched the Dalet ecosystem: - In 2010, Dalet acquired Brio, the technology at the cornerstone of today’s high-density ingest & playout workflows and tomorrow’s elastic, cloud-native ingest solutions for live production in the cloud at scale and cost-effectively. - In 2014, the company acquired AmberFin, the standards bearer for image quality in transcoding and media processing - now available in a cloud-native package for elastic workflows. - In 2019, Dalet acquired the Ooyala Flex business, a company of exceptional talent and technology that enabled us to realize our ambitions and bring to market the first cloud-native media supply chain solution.I am a regular speaker at industry conferences and enjoy sharing insights (and stories!) around Media Technology, the evolution of the news industry, and the future of content.

CurrentCo-founded Dalet, a global leading media solutions and services company. We are innovators:- Dalet digitized production for radio broadcasters back in the 1990s.- Dalet defined media asset management in the early 2000s and built the first end-to-end IT-based, media platform to enable it.- In the mid-2000s our technology and methodology underpinning story-first news production introduced the industry to a new way of making news.- Today, our content supply chain and workflow automation technology remains unmatched and powers some of the most advanced media operations in the world.Back in the days, we pioneered the replacement of tape machines in broadcast with computer-based systems. I led the development of software applications, running on a network of connected PCs and servers, to record, edit and play out digitized media. This was the beginning of fully digitized content production workflows, with easy access and sharing of media files, contributing to revolutionize the way production teams work. We developed solutions that were successful with both small and large broadcasters, taking the radio industry from analog to digital, making it more efficient, productive, and effective.During my tenure as CTO, I have continued my mission to bring the best of Information Technology to the Broadcast industry. We applied the concepts of networked audio to video, allowing the company to expand from radio to television, and focusing on News Production and Media Asset Management, providing a suite of software applications to offer end-to-end solutions to customers world-wide with a unique integrated user experience. We combined organic growth with strategic acquisitions (Gruppo TNT, Amberfin, Ooyala Flex) to expand the scope of our technology offering and better serve our media customers with solutions to streamline their operations and increase efficiency.
