I've led key media technology initiatives that have upended old paradigms overnight. These changes have helped Dalet not just be relevant but at the forefront of change. My role is to keep an eye on the future, always. In doing so, we know exactly where we need to be for our customers, what we need to build internally versus what we need to buy to leapfrog innovation and remain ahead of the curve.With the anticipation of market needs and roadmap expansion, we pursued the following acquisitions that have brought best-in-class technologies that enriched the Dalet ecosystem: - In 2010, Dalet acquired Brio, the technology at the cornerstone of today’s high-density ingest & playout workflows and tomorrow’s elastic, cloud-native ingest solutions for live production in the cloud at scale and cost-effectively. - In 2014, the company acquired AmberFin, the standards bearer for image quality in transcoding and media processing - now available in a cloud-native package for elastic workflows. - In 2019, Dalet acquired the Ooyala Flex business, a company of exceptional talent and technology that enabled us to realize our ambitions and bring to market the first cloud-native media supply chain solution.I am a regular speaker at industry conferences and enjoy sharing insights (and stories!) around Media Technology, the evolution of the news industry, and the future of content.
