I developed proof of concepts home services and implemented solutions using technologies such as openWRT, Java, OSGi and Android. I designed an access network architecture to relieve bandwidth bottlenecks in large scale of Video on Demand (VoD) services, using a combination of multicast, unicast streaming and peer to peer.Together with a major Swedish telecom company, I set up test systems for access networks and assessing the quality of services; We built technology demonstrators for the partner, set up the infrastructure and prepared deployment to test pilots.I am the main developer of the C++ library IPTVInterface, which was open sourced by Acreo. IPTVInterface is used to acquire IPTV channels and forward them to a video quality monitoring tool (iVQM).

I worked as a project manager for the development and assembly of optoelectronic micro–systems. I developed assembling techniques for semiconductor devices and modules. I performed various development and characterisation work on micro–bolometers and other semiconductor devices.I developed a novel x–ray detector design for one our customers (patented).I coordinated Acreo's involvement in European project ODIN on semi–hermetic packaging of optoelectronic devices for optical access networks. Acreo's team was consisting of 4 people with a budget of 4M SEK.

Within the Swedish Intelligent Vehicle Safety Systems (IVSS) program, I collaborated with major automotive part suppliers on the design and optical material alternatives for a low–cost infra–red camera aimed at the detection of pedestrians.

I was part of the team that started the electro–absorption modulator activity at Acreo in late 2000. I modelled the absorption in GaAs/AlGaAs quantum wells, modelled device structures, designed and characterised amplitude and phase modulators for applications related to free–space optical communication and optical signal processing.
