My github: github.com/StephaneMoreraGrowing up, I was always passionate about problem solving. I always challenged myself to put my critical thinking skills to the test. Math was my favorite subject to learn because of the challenges it presented. Once I find something that challenges my mental abilities, and I persist until i can solve it. from learning to solve the rubix cube to facing challenges in the work environment, I've always been able to figure out a solution. Computer science and software engineering was always a task i wanted to take on. After college, I went directly into to work environment. My greatest achievements came from my role as a sales associate/ account manager with a distribution company. I learned how to work with a team in an industry that was very fast paced and faced multiple issues every day. I managed over one hundred accounts and always found a way to deliver. I was later introduced to the possibilities of challenge and growth in the tech industry by friends who were currently working in the field. Having limited time to learn the skills necessary, due to having a full time job, I slowly started to research and try to learn coding on my own. Eventually I was introduced to a coding bootcamp known as BrainStation. I knew this is the career I wanted so i took a chance and left my job to enroll in this bootcamp. I made the right decision. The first week of the course, I felt right at home. The class was very challenging and time consuming, but I felt that there wasn't enough hours in the day because I constantly wanted to learn more. The skills and knowledge i have learned from BrainStation are invaluable. I am ready and excited to apply my new skills in the real world and face the challenges ahead.
