With over 16 years of experience in the hospitality industry, I am a passionate and dedicated leader who strives to deliver exceptional service and quality to guests and staff. As the assistant general manager at Angeline by Michael Symon, a fine dining restaurant at MGM Resorts International, I oversee the daily operations, budget, inventory, and staff training of the restaurant, ensuring compliance with company standards and health regulations. I also work closely with the executive chef and the general manager to create and execute seasonal menus, wine pairings, and special events. Previously, I was the restaurant manager at Willow Creek Winery & Farm, where I managed the food and beverage service, coordinated weddings and banquets, and increased sales and customer satisfaction. I have also worked as a food and beverage manager at Sonesta Hotels, where I supervised the restaurants and room service teams, and improved the efficiency and profitability of the department. I have completed two hospitality management certificates from Florida Atlantic University and AHLEI, and I have also taken a course on fighting gender bias at work from LinkedIn. I speak three languages: Portuguese, English, and Spanish, and I have a keen interest in learning about different cultures and cuisines.
