Having excelled in competitive speech and debate at both the national and international levels for more than a decade, Stephanie shifted to coaching during her graduate studies at Eastern Michigan University, where she earned a Master’s degree in communication. She and her husband Corey relocated to Arkansas in 2012 when he was appointed as director of the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts. During that transition, she began to focus her interests on social media, digital narratives, graphic design, web development and community engagement.In 2014, she joined the team at Kirby & Co. Two years later, she acquired the firm and renamed the agency SixtyOne Celsius, a light-hearted acknowledgment of Hot Springs’ famous thermal waters. SixtyOne Celsius specializes in digital engagement, brand strategy, and campaign management for a variety of groups across the public, private, and non-profit sectors. The firm has been recognized by Arkansas chapters of the Public Relations Society of America and the International Association of Business Communicators for its quality services, but the real victories are helping clients share their stories.In January 2024, Stephanie transitioned from agency life and began her role as Senior Vice President, Director of Marketing at Stone Bank in Little Rock. Stephanie serves on the boards of Hot Springs Area Community Foundation and Friends of Little Rock Public Radio. She has previously served on the boards of the Hot Springs National Park Rotary Club and Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival. She has been honored as one of Arkansas Business' "40 Under 40", Arkansas Money & Politics "2024 Influencers of the Year," Arkansas Money & Politics "2022 Power Women," and a 2016 Rising Star by the Greater Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce.
