I organized the establishment of a non-profit organization on Kauai, Hawaii to champion the immediate needs of children who are displaced from their homes due to unfortunate circumstances or choices of the adults who care for them.Its My Very Own (IMVO) seeks to make the lives of these island keiki a little brighter by providing a handmade quilt, personal care items, toys and a stuffed animal as they transition through the Hawaii Office of Human Services - Child Welfare Service Division.I oversee the construction of the handmade quilts and bags, prepare a bag for age and gender-appropriate children when a call comes in from Child Welfare Services and compile a quarterly report to the main office in Cadis, Kentucky.

My job at SANS Institute is to review, select, and process candidates to the Work Study Program who will assist SANS staff with conference set up and teardown, assist registration staff, serve as room monitors, and provide audio support for conference courses and events. SANS facilitators are ready to go out of their way to help others, and they work hard in return for the opportunity to receive a SANS education.I also provide support to registrants to any of SANS training courses and to GIAC (Global Information Assurance Certification) exam candidates.
