If you guys read the above and made it all the way down here, you’ll actually get to know a little about me. I don’t have a background in video production. I haven’t been doing it for 10 or 20 years like most co-founders will say. About 4 years ago, I moved to Los Angeles into a house full of strangers. I met my business partner there, who was a very talented video editor. Although we didn’t know we were going to be creating this full-fledged video production company, we were creating our own content just for fun. One day I decided to quit my day job and do video full time. I had barely any money, but I purchased an editing laptop and learned to edit within a few months. I also learned how to use and operate multiple cameras. It wasn’t easy. It was actually very hard and to this day, I’m so glad I just stuck with it. Fast forward 4 years later and we’ve built the #1 video production agency on two freelance sites, Upwork and Bark. I’m still astounded by the fact we were able to do that in such a short amount of time, but we learned the algorithms of those sites, automated necessary communication to streamline our work days and climbed our way to the top of the site. We currently still hold that position, but are slowly transitioning into working outside of those freelance sites. We haven’t done any marketing ourselves. We’ve gotten most of our work through word-of-mouth, referrals, and the internet. As you can see, I’m active on LinkedIn now. My goal is to dominate this site as well. As Garyvee says, “LinkedIn is what Facebook was in 2012.”I’m not gonna lie. I love LinkedIn. One of my marketers said I was probably the only person in the world to say that. He’s totally wrong. The amount of knowledge, wisdom, and expertise here is all free! We get to hear from the greatest CEOs, entrepreneurs, and marketers themselves. What’s not to love about it? ❤️www.concept33.net
