A Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervision Designation who specializes in working with individuals who are under high levels of stress and pressure. TPC will offer a range of services including individual therapy/coaching, family/couples therapy, group therapy/coaching, psychoeducation, and seminars focused on stress management and performance enhancement. Services will be delivered in performance-based clinic settings, mixing traditional therapy/coaching assessment and intervention with progressive cognitive and emotional restructuring techniques optimize performance.

Attorney General’s Victims of Crime Act Campus-based grant position. Provides support services for students impacted by sexual violence including: assistance with filing criminal or university complaints, provide survivors resources for mental health counseling, medical services and crisis support; assist with housing or academic accommodations, provide advocacy during the criminal or university investigation process and during court or university hearing procedures, advocate for students impacted by sexual violence including survivors and survivors from under-reported populations. Assists in developing and implementing a peer advocate model for providing peer-to-peer support services to students impacted by sexual violence. Maintains relationships with university and community partners, students and staff to better serve students impacted by sexual violence. Co-chairs the Sexual Assault Response Team of the Coordinated Community Response Team.Develops and provide training to faculty and staff regarding responding to students who disclose experiencing sexual violence, referring students to appropriate support resources and notifying the appropriate university authority of the disclosure. Collaborates with schools, departments, colleges, faculty members, etc. regarding training of staff and support for students. Conducts outreach to the university community, including regional campuses about the SRVSS office, its support services and local community resources for students impacted by sexual violence. Collects and analyze demographic data related to notices of sexual violence to look for trends, patterns and areas where more awareness and outreach would be beneficial. Serves on various department, division and University committees as a representative of the SRVSS Office. Provides supervision to Student Organization, “Students Against Sexual Assault”.

Clinical mental health counselor in a non-for profit emergency residential program serving at-risk youth who reside in a shelter that have been identified as having social, emotional, behavioral and/or mental health difficulties, with a special emphasis on those with trauma history.
