Faculty Member
I teach Marketing in the fall semesters to a small class of 20-24 students.
Associate Director Of Youth Programs
Member Management Coordinator
At MCC I assist in managing two databases: Salesforce and iCims. I also facilitate the onboarding and management of all Americorps members that come through our programs each year. Successful onboarding, mangement, and exiting of members allows for the maintenance of our Americorps grants by facilitating easy and accurate reporting. I have also had many opportunities to take part DEI-oriented groups and committees, influencing MCC's direction and development of a JEDI culture.
Lead Mentor
My current responsibilities include training and supporting mentors and tutors from each of the programs offered on campus. I also work in various capacities in each of these programs, from scheduling and activities to training and development.
Mentor
As a mentor, I worked with 10 high-risk students through the new Horatio Alger scholar support program. With my students I attended monthly events put on by the Center for Student Success. Most importantly, though, I had weekly individual meetings with each of these students during which we worked together to ensure that they were achieving success and feeling supported in doing so. At the end of the semester doing this, I was given the opportunity to become MSU's first Lead Mentor.
Second Assistant Manager
I began at Zumiez as a sales associate and was promoted after a month as a result of my sales statistics. At that point I maintained my position in sales while having the added on responsibilities of opening/closing the store, handling transfers and markdowns, and generally acted as leadership (along with the other seconds, the first assistant, and the store manager) within our location.
Nacurh Communications Coordinator
I began my freshman year as a senator for my hall where I acted as a student representative. By the end of the first semester, I had been appointed NCC-In Training, which I acted as for the remainder of that academic year. At the end of that year, I became a full-fledged NCC. As NCC I kept MSU's RHA affiliated with the region (IACURH) and the nation (NACURH) as well as taking our school to 3 conferences each year, two regional and one national. In this position I constantly managed groups of 3-20 students both on campus and at conferences while becoming better familiar with the workings of a student government, parliamentary procedure, and diplomacy. During these years I also acted on multiple regional and national committees of various sorts.
General Manager
Here, I assisted in opening two new locations of the preexisting Bone Daddy's Custom Cycle. In addition to renovating buildings and putting together the storefronts and a garage, I hired and trained employees, worked in close collaboration with our investors and accountants, helped purchase inventory and work up designs, managed advertising, and worked as a sales associate between the two shops day to day.
General Manager
Here, I moved from being a sale associate one summer, to Bone Daddy's first manager the next. As such, I worked daily as a sales associate as well as doing all employee scheduling and general management. After the second summer, I was offered the opportunity to move to South Dakota to open the new locations.
