I received my teaching license in the summer of 2019. Previously, I completed my student teaching at Jefferson Elementary in the Anoka-Hennepin school district in a 3rd grade classroom. I was successful at teaching the day's curricula in all subjects. I also took on learning about EnVOY and how it relates to classroom management, observing other teachers and practicing it for myself.I accepted a position for the 2019-20 school year at St. Francis Elementary, working as an intervention specialist. I worked one-on-one with students, focusing on either math or reading. I am fluent in several curricula that provide interventions in specific skills related to math or reading. I was successful in communicating with parents weekly and maintaining positive professional relationships with colleagues. I excelled in completing distance learning with my students in the spring of 2020. I continued communication with families and set up weekly video conferences with my students.
