Stephanie Bishop has a strong background in project management and front-end web development. I am a certified Scrum Master and an experienced facilitator for an agile development team. While working for the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), I have worked on maintaining and updating several large websites including the public NIEHS site, the NIEHS intranet site, multiple NIEHS newsletters and micro-sites as well as the online scientific journal, Environmental Health Perspectives. I have successfully led the large-scale project effort in usability testing and the development of personas for the NIEHS public website; which in turn enabled the successful launch of the public site redesign. These projects involved writing project plans, monitoring time and budget requirements, communicating and organizing information with the NIEHS Office of Communications and Public Liaison and submitting project deliverables on time. As part of my current contract, I have written and provided training to NIEHS contractors and staff on content management systems, 508 Accessibility standards, Writing for the Web, analytics and good SEO practices. I help to ensure all website documents and pages are 508 compliant as required by WCAG 2.0 AA. I am the primary contact for NIEHS staff and contractors wishing to use SurveyMonkey for institute surveys. Using Google Analytics, I have assisted in monitoring the log files and providing analytical support on event data for NIEHS supported websites and mobile applications. Additional contract responsibilities include SharePoint administration, administrative and contract deliverables support.
