As Head of Operations at RESULTS UK, I have oversight of three key functions across the organisation including:• Finance Oversight – Line managing the FCCA-qualified Finance Manager and finance team to ensure the production of high quality financial information to support the work of the organisation. Ensuring budget holders, the senior management team and board receive the information they need to support decision making. • Resource Mobilisation – I line manage the Development Officer and provide strategic oversight of resource mobilisation including developing a fundraising strategy, writing applications and supporting donor reporting. and associated plans. T• Office Management, including HR, facilities and upgrading organisational systems to improve the functioning of the organisation.

As the Senior Project Manager I line managed the London Office Coordinator and undertook the implementation of projects across the organisation including developing project plans and budgets, convening regular project meetings, leading on financial and narrative reporting to donors. In the six years I worked for Traidcraft Exchange I delivered a wide range of projects across the organisation. I lead the implementation of the Trade Fair Live Fair project, which brings together fair trade partners from 25 European Countries promoting SDG12 sustainable production and consumption. As part of this project I lead the Private Sector Working Group supporting organisations across Europe to influence Private Sector Practice and sit on the project steering committee.I also led a Brexit Impact Assessment across the organisation looking at the impact of Brexit upon our work, assessing the risks to the organisation and how these could be mitigated. This included managing two consultancies looking at opportunities for registering local offices outside of the UK, presenting the findings and making recommendations to the board and advocating towards DFID for the protection of our EC funded projects, which have now been included as part of their no deal insurance scheme. Other project have included an IT Systems review and strategy development leading a cross organization work reviewing and strengthening our IT systems to enable better collaboration between staff working in a number of locations, project managing the 2020 organisational strategic review and our 2018 UKAID Match Appeal. I also represented Traidcraft Exchange on the board of WFTO – Europe

As a board member I oversee the financial management of the organisation including developing their income strategy. I am also involved in setting organizational strategy and provide support to staff as needed including undertaking appraisals of the European coordinator and developing their annual objectives.I have also sat on the steering group for research in to the implementation of the WFTO Fair Payment Policy and an Environmental Guide for member business'.

As Capacity Building Director I oversaw the development of capacity building activities for members of the Alliance this included the launch of a Patients Organizations Toolkit accompanied by training for patients organizations on how to use this, the design and delivery of a mentoring programme for patient organizations at the World Health Assembly in Geneva in May 2011 and the co – management of the 5th Global Patients Congress in March 2012. In addition to this I was a member of the organizations Senior Management Team and line managed the Senior Membership Officer.

Key Achievements:Designing and developing project proposals and consultancy bids, including securing over £2 million in new projects for Healthlink Worldwide.Healthlink Worldwide was only one of two organisations to receive the maximum DFID CSCF Grants in 2009.Designed and delivered a community consultation training course.Supported the development of the Healthlink Worldwide Training Programme.Developed systems for identifying and tracking fundraising and consultancy opportunities.Developed standardised budgets and consultancy fees ensuring that the organisation was able to develop accurate budgets and fully recover the cost of running projects.Increased the profile of the organisation with large consultancy firms leading to the development of joint bids with Coffey International and Emerging Markets Group.Successfully managed the completion of projects in Latin America, Asia and Africa focusing on HIV and AIDS Communications.Managed an on going series of volunteers providing a structured volunteering programme.

Provided support to Latin American and India Programmes, who work with Deafblind children and adults, including strategic & financial planning, developing staff handbooks, project development and supporting the development and implementation of regional fundraising plans. Developed funding applications to trusts and statutory funders securing funds from the EU, Big Lottery Fund and several large trusts including complex budgets and log frames.Monitoring financial and operational progress of reports including reporting to donors.Coordinating Monitoring and Evaluation against baseline indicators across the whole organization.

Support across the Policy Team at Traidcraft including:Fundraising Applications - raising over £300,000 from statutory funders including the EU, DFID and Comic Relief, for policy work in the UK and Africa.Coordinating Projects and Events across the policy team including several conferences and high level meetings involving Government Ministers and high level speakers.Briefing Paper Series – A series of 10 briefing papers which examine current trade policy issues taking making often complex issues and making these accessible to Traidcraft supporters.Volunteer Coordination – Recruiting and managing volunteers for the unit
