ResponsibilitiesMy role is HR partnering with the business management teams to ensure effective alignment and delivery of the people plans to execute the strategic HR and business goals. I am responsible for providing HR support to organisational change and design projects. I also cover people related actives including recruitment, employee engagement, sickness absence management, complex employee relations issues and contractual issues relating to pay, regrading, bonus, incentives, annualised hours. I partner the senior management team for Smart Metering and Field Services Operations which employs up to 1500 employees and the Meter Reading business employing approximately 600 employees over a national scale and multi sites.

P&O Cruises is a British cruise line traveling to worldwide destinations. I also worked on Fathom Cruise which was "social impact travel" cruise experience that included volunteer activities. Both operated by Carnival UK and owned by Carnival Corporation & plc.Responsibilities My role formed part of the onboard senior manager team accountable for delivery of business balance scorecards, driving company initiatives. I was accountable in providing expert knowledge and guidance on all HR aspects to the ships company and responsible for crew welfare holding a budget of 12 - 21K. I managed the Human Resources and Learning Development department for the onboard crew life cycle of up to 800 crew from up to 36 nationalities.

Medirest is a healthcare facilities management service and is part of the Compass Group UK. They provided Catering, Domestic and Retails services at the 1000 bedded Southampton University Hospital Trust. Responsibilities; My role formed part of the senior Management Team responsible for delivering the people strategy of the contract at Hospital. I managed the Human Resources and Learning and Development team coving the whole employment life cycle for approximately 750 employees and a causal workforces. HR Lead on a number of organisational change plans including consultation and recruitment for brands M&S Simple Food, M&S Simple Cafe, Costa, Subway.

Portsmouth Hospital NHS Trust provides a range of acute services at Queen Alexandra Hospital and St Mary’s Hospital, Portsmouth.Responsibilities: (2010 - 2013)I was part of a large HR team who delivering a comprehensive operational HR service to 7000 managers and staff working in an acute hospital environment. As the HR partner for women's and children's services and emergency departments I provided HR and employment law advice on a range of complex and sensitive employee relations issues and cases that included advising at staff hearings. I was also the HR operations lead responsible for the Trust sickness absence management and the Management training programme for the Human Resources Policies. Responsibilities: (Oct 2006 - Apr 2010)My role formed part of the Trust Facilities and Development team monitoring and worked in partnership with Carillon the Facilities Management Services contractor. I was accountable for creating and implementing the Human Resources auditing system. The role also covered a range of HR activities including resolving contractual issues, SLA cost implications, Trust HR representative for complex employee relation cases and managing human resources team in the life cycle of the Trust Facilities Management employees.
