Manages Maine Department of Transportation (MDOT) and Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry (DACF) municipal planning contracts for the Cumberland County Region. Provide technical planning assistance to Cumberland County communities including grant writing, comprehensive plan updates, local development review assistance, and ordinance development and analysis. Coordinate with local agencies, nonprofits and municipalities in the Casco Bay Watershed on multi-agency coastal initiatives promoting implementation of effective and supportive local and regional coastal policies.

Evaluated and managed proposals for urban redevelopment and revitalization projects under review by the Planning Board. Supervised bi-monthly Planning Board meetings. Monitored the construction of development projects throughout the City. Provided project management for long-range land use, historic preservation, and community development planning studies and projects. Managed and evaluated waterfront development to insure it's compliance with the Salem Municipal Harbor Plan.

Assisted Town Planner in overseeing all activities and functions of the Planning Board. Reviewed and evaluated all development proposals prior to Planning Board review. Monitored the construction of development projects and determined compliance with approved site plans. Supervised neighborhood groups and committees conducting local planning and zoning initiatives.
