I was responsible for the reception area, receiving guests, assisting with payments, making bookings and answering the phones.I also assisted in the kitchen with preparing meals, serving guests in the restaurant and bar.I was also responsible for the stock control of the kitchen and the bar.

I started here as a barlady in the Badplaas Hotel. Shortly after I was promoted to Duty Manager for the Dining Room in the hotel. I had to manage staff, do cash ups at the end of the shift, handle orders and invoicing as well as assist with stock control.Later I was promoted to Stock Controller. I had to manage all invoices, orders and stock control. I was also responsible for the month end reports that had to be compiled from Cuisine Software.
