This includes insights about industry-related topics, such as web design, web development, SEO-optimisation and more. I also assist on client projects, where I write quality web copy and SEO-friendly articles to boost conversions.

Since joining Britcent in 2020, I've perfected my online teaching skills as well as been heavily involved in content creation for English language learners and enthusiasts. Some key highlights include:- Maintaining a consistently above average student retention rate in teaching one-to-one online English lessons. - Hitting thousands of views on my blog posts written for Britcent's website. - Reaching over 500K views for YouTube videos and livestreams filmed for the company, with a strong viewership and high ad revenue. - Devising and recording a regular podcast series with colleagues, achieving a strong YouTube following.- Co-authored a best selling language audiobook in Korea called '100% British English'. - Hired and onboarded 14 new English tutors for Britcent who excelled in the company under my training and development sessions.

Working at Islington Centre for English for almost 10 years meant I was able to gain so much more experience of different aspects of the English language teaching industry, such as:- Teaching non-native English speakers of all nationalities, ages and levels of English, from beginner to advanced.- Classroom management skills in teaching group classes, as well as experience of one-to-one lessons.- Specialist knowledge for running Cambridge First and Advanced exam preparation courses and IELTS preparation. - Preparing and conducting two-week intensive teacher training courses, specialising in the communicative method.

I started my English teaching career in Malta, where I taught students from all over the world. This was something I did in the summer holidays whilst I was at university, which then led to me being offered a permanent full-time position there once I'd graduated. Working at Elanguest was an amazing experience. I learnt how to make language learning more fun and interactive, and gained a deeper understanding of the grammar and syntax of my own language in order to help others improve their language skills. I also had the opportunity to write two English language course books, which were sold by Elanguest at the time.
