Research focused on curation and collectionsmanagement within archaeological studies: Upgrading the SUNYPotsdam Archaeological Collections. My research focus was on preservation techniques which could beapplied to the SUNY Potsdam collections for half of the year andthen I transitioned into laboratory work. The focus of laboratory work withinthis project was on historical material culture excavated in the 1970s. I curated the archaeologicalremains and created a catalog for a site located in Ogdensburg, NY.

Conducted phase I –III investigations of a 19th century historical homestead located in theAdirondack Mountains outside of Lake Placid. Gained experience using a total station and compasswork, creating a grid on the site. Other experiences gained were using the site grid to completemetal detecting survey and pedestrian survey.
