As Director within the Queensland Regulatory Authority for the early education and care services sector, I am responsible for high level investigations into the most serious instances of non compliance with the Education and Care Services National Law. I also oversee the Regulatory Authority’s complaints management system and statutory internal reviews.

Registration and Preliminary AssessmentI led a team of 12 officers responsible for the registration and preliminary assessment of up to 9000 contacts per year.

As an investigator at the Queensland Ombudsman, I assess and investigate complaints from the public concerning state government agencies, public universities and correctional centres. If an investigation finds that an action or decision by one of these agencies was unlawful, unreasonable, unfair or wrong, the Office will recommend to the agency that it rectify that action or decision.
