I am currently the Programme Co-ordinator for the following programmes: Mini Bairns, In-School Coaching, Girls & Women's Community Teams & Holiday Camps.Mini Bairns: Pre-School Football (18months - 4.5yrs)I created and implemented a new coaching curriculum for our youngest players in order to teach them the necessary skills needed to progress onto the next level. In-School Coaching: Primary Schools (P1 - P7)I work closely with Active Schools to plan, promote & run various in-school coaching sessions throughout term time. Girls & Women's Community Teams: U7's - Senior WomenImplemented a full pathway from U7s to Senior Women, one of the very few clubs to currently have this in place in Central Scotland. I am responsible for all administration duties regarding the 10 teams as well as ensuring all coaches have relevant and up-to-date qualifications. I have also trained & mentored older players to become coaches at the younger age groups.Holiday Camps: Easter, Summer, October & Christmas (2 - 14yrs)I plan, promote and run holiday activity for local children to attend. Give young coaches valuable 'live' experience by assisting Lead Coaches and helping deliver the sessions. I am responsible for recruiting, training and management of all part-time staff and volunteers. I oversee the finances for the organisation, process staff wages as well as submitting all member direct debits and submitting Gift Aid claims.I have also delivered employability programmes aimed at helping specific groups of people gain SQA qualifications and providing them with the necessary skills needed to gain employment.

Bahrain

I delivered weekly coaching sessions to children between the ages of 3 & 18 years of age. I was responsible for planning the sessions for the U4 classes within the Soccer School. Also, I was the Head Coach for the 3 girls teams; U10, U14 & U21. Our Ladies U21 team played in the Bahrain Football Association Women's Football League during the 2015/16 season. In addition, I was the Safeguarding Officer for the Soccer School and wrote, and implemented, a new Safeguarding Policy. I delivered staff training regarding this issue.

In November 2014, I undertook, and passed the Futsal Refereeing course and refereed in weekly regional leagues.

In April 2013, I passed my football refereeing course and refereed and assisted games at various levels. I refereed at youth level, up to the age of Under 17 and was an assistant referee in the men’s Junior Leagues and the women’s Premier League. This has not only vastly improved my communication and decision making skills with players, coaches and parents, but has enabled me to effectively handle various challenging game-related situations.

I ran weekly development centres for young children to enhance their talent and continue to improve their skills in the hope that they can be then accepted into the official Club academy. In addition, during school holidays, I coached at week-long camps designed to give children, aged between 4 & 14, a more intensive coaching experience which works on a variety of components, such as passing, control and 1v1’s, among others. I have also delivered our week-long camps away from home, to date, in the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands & Islands. I worked with various world-wide football clubs when they have travelled to Scotland. I maintain my coaching standards to a consistently high standard at all times in order to enhance the club’s reputation as well as my own. I have received many personal commendations, had letters of thanks from children and overseas clubs have requested that I work with them again in the future.

I was responsible for the planning, organising and running of an assortment of youth club projects and street football sessions. These were aimed at disadvantaged children from poor backgrounds and are all about giving back to the community. In addition, I visited multiple schools every week to deliver football coaching sessions to various different age and ability groups. I have experience of working with children with behavioural and social difficulties, such as autism and Tourette syndrome, as well as physical disabilities, including blindness and cerebral palsy. Furthermore, I co-ran a ‘Gateway to Employment’ programme, aimed at getting young adults, who were at risk of offending and re-offending, into employment through football and fitness.
