I began as a receptionist with additional tasks of office ordering, filing, and assisting with various office projects. This position includes a wide variety of tasks making time management a key to success. Over the course of one year I took on managing the content of 7 different Facebook accounts for the retail shopping centers we manage on the Central Coast, in Los Angeles, and in Orange County. I was responsible for creating content, analyzing the Facebook insights for each page, and interpreting the data to improve engagement. I was also responsible for maintaining many of our office's filing systems and for ordering all office supplies. I implemented several new organizational systems that have increased the productivity of this role drastically. I exercise creative problem solving by serving as the front-line communication for our every employee at our company and in my role as Facebook account administrator.

As an intern I served as a leader in my department. Daily tasks involved working on the sales floor, personal appointments with customers, Social Media projects, and meeting with my Mentor Manager. I also attended weekly management training sessions to learn interview procedures, tips on managing a team, how to deal with conflict in the workplace, career paths within the company, and most importantly how to be a servant leader for your team. At the end of the Internship I graduated from Nordstrom's Retail Management Training Program.

As a Peer Academic Advisor I advised students in one-on-one appointments and assisted in teaching a First Year Seminar class. I primarily advised undeclared students and gained experience helping students discover their strengths, goals, and passions in order to find a major that was a good fit for success both at Biola and in their future career. I also assisted with the First Year Seminar class for freshmen and researched curriculum improvements, particularly to the Strengths Finder portion of the class. I also helped plan and execute Sophomore Year events such as Sophomore Mugging and SOPH-Ball.
