Responsible for the development of new brand and partner marketing assets and brand guidelines for Tourism Australia’s global marketing plans.Strategy and concept development and lead the execution of TA brand campaign activity to ensure effective end to end implementation and appropriate localisation in key markets.

Responsible for the delivery and management of key research and insights programs including Tourism Australia’s flagship global research project, the Consumer Demand Project; and qualitative research projects in-market.

Creation and execution of PR & Communications plans for Tourism Australia’s largest campaigns to date including Dundee, The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, Noma Australia, and Aquatic and Coastal alongside the appointment of global ambassador Chris Hemsworth.

Responsible for communication management for events such as Sydney Craft Beer Week, Greek Film Festival, Palestinian Film Festival and Travelling Film Festival. Day to day actions included producing press releases, pitching to an array of media outlets, managing interview schedules, producing social media content strategies, tracking and reporting on coverage and daily client facing communications.

After a competitive selection process, I was selected to undertake the volunteer work experience program at Tourism Australia. During the placement, I gained experience in the Global Public Relations division, helping coordinate one of their largest campaigns, Restaurant Australia, which required me travel to Tasmania for the Invite the World to Dinner event at MONA Tasmania. Additionally I worked with the Social Media team to analyse consumer faced social media platforms. I also spent time with the Corporate Communications writing media releases, drafting copy for the corporate website and learning government relations processes.
