Central Appalachia

I have the privilege of leading a high performing regional team to support over 400 current program participants and alumni across four Central Appalachian States (Kentucky, West Virginia, Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. In the first year of this role, I've worked to establish a 10 year strategic vision that drives toward an ambitious but essential goal-that by 2030, twice as many students in Appalachian communities achieve educational milestones that put them on a path to economic mobility and a future filled with possibility. I am lucky to lead alongside a 12 member Executive Advisory Board, formed in the first 3 months of my tenure and representing a full array of experiences and geographies. As part of a multi-region development Hub, I raise $1.5+ annually through private, public, and philanthropic gifts.
